Nana's Famous and Easy Banana Bread | Five Secrets to Better Banana Bread

The little girls LOVE Nana's banana bread! For years people have asked our Nana what her secret is to a better banana bread and now, that secret is revealed!

 Mix together the following: 

4 small/medium ripe bananas

1 cup white sugar

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

2 eggs

1 stick of butter

2 cups flour

1 tsp vanilla

Our first secret: I use white sugar exclusively because I've found it helps the bread not brown as quickly while cooking!

Our Second Secret: I always add some white or regular chocolate chips! 

Our Third Secret: I ONLY use a ceramic pan, not metal or clear glass!

Our Fourth Secret: Add some coarse brown sugar on the top. It browns the top well and adds a delicious crunch that you can't get anywhere else! 

Our Fifth Secret: Cook for 1 hour at 325 degrees. This is essential, it will make the banana bread softer.
